Michael Duane Moore
Michael Duane Moore, 48, of Piedmont passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013, surrounded by his family. Michael was the son of Larry Duane Moore and the late Hazel Lee Williams. He was the step-son of Margaret L. Moore.
Michael is survived by his son, James Michael “Little Mike” Moore; and four sisters, Patti Marie Moore, Teresa Diane Mann, Pam Michelle Crawford, and Debbie Moore Kelly.
Michael was a graduate of Wren High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked in the construction industry. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his many friends. “Little Mike” was the light of his life.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Piedmont, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Michael D. Moore Memorial Fund at TD Bank.
