Mary D. Crompton
Mary Deborah Crompton, 71, of Laurens, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Born in Spartanburg, SC she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Stepp Crocker.
Mary is survived by one son, Samuel Knight (Melissa); one daughter, Catherine Knight; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one sister, Anna Marie Crocker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Rebecca Thomason; one sister, Rita K. Crocker; and two brothers, Johnny Earl Crocker, and Roland Van Crocker Sr.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Laurens Church of God, 908 N. Harper St. Laurens, SC. A Funeral Service will follow at the church at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park, Fountain Inn, SC following the service.
