Marvin Lewis Thomason

Marvin Lewis Thomason, 84, of Simpsonville, passed away November 8, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 24, 1926 in Greenville, SC to the late Wade Thomason and Ola Ballard Thomason. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was retired from Hendricks Builder Supply.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sara Sargent Thomason; four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are a son, Ronald Thomason of Simpsonville; stepson, Frank Sargent of Atlanta, GA; step-daughters, Brenda Sargent Masters and husband, Stan of Simpsonville, and Dr. J. Myra Sargent of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Ronald, Shane, Sandra, Jason, Kent, and Paul; and six great-grandchildren.
Lewis lived a full, happy life and was blessed by many friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Cannon Memorial Park.
