Marvin E. Collins
Marvin Eugene Collins, 62, beloved husband of Linda Collins, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Born in Maryland, Marvin would always proudly say he was from “the southern side.” He was the son of Earl and Nina Collins and carried with him a deep love for family, tradition, and the simple joys of life.
Marvin enjoyed working on cars, feeding the birds and squirrels, and spending time with those he loved most. He loved sharing stories of growing up on the mountain, hunting, and trapping, often bringing smiles and laughter to those around him with his memories and storytelling.
Above all else, Marvin dearly loved his wife, Linda Collins. Their bond was built on love, devotion, and unwavering support. He always made sure Linda had everything she needed and took great pride in caring for her. His love for her was evident in both the big and small ways he showed his dedication every day.
Marvin was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Wingate, April Collins, Stacy Jackson, Sherri Collins, Tonya Neshan, and Lisa Collins. He was also the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. He loved spoiling them whenever he could, attending their school plays, cheering them on, and spending time playing games and making lasting memories together. Marvin is also survived by his siblings, Karen Burks, John Collins, and Tim Collins.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his stories, his love of nature and the outdoors, his dedication to his family, and the deep love he shared with Linda. His presence will be greatly missed, but the memories he created will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
Forever loved and never forgotten.
