Martha Sue Birdwell, 78, of Greenville, widow of Jerry W. Birdwell, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  Born in Homerville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A and Mittie Hodges Bennett.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Renee Burton and her husband, David, of Greenville; four grandchildren David Burton, Jr, C.J. Allen, Vickie Allen, and Katie Allen; and three great grandchildren, Katelyn, Bradley, and Connor.

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Allen; granddaughter Kayla Burton; and thirteen siblings.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.
