Kenneth Thurman Huff
Kenneth Thurman Huff, 85, of Simpsonville, husband of Mary Nan Freeman Huff for 66 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 2, 2017 while surrounded by his family.
Born in Central, SC he was a son of the late William Leland Huff and the late Minnie Pearl Bowen Huff. Mr. Huff was a member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville. He served our country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jane Chandler and her husband, Dr. James R. Chandler Jr. of Sumter, and Becky Huff of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Mary Anna Chandler, Ryan Chandler, John Chandler and his fiancé, Kelsey, Rachel Sloan, and Austin Sloan.
Mr. Huff was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: First Baptist Church Simpsonville, Building Fund, 3 Hedge Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
