Justin Travis Stewart

Justin T. Stewart, 23, of Williamston, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Born in Plant City, FL, he was a son of the late Tina Carlisle Stewart and Douglas Allen Stewart (Lori).

In addition to his dad, Justin is survived by his two brothers, Chris Martin and Jeremy Stewart (Catherine); stepsisters, Hannah Brooks (Kyle), and Abby Connor; his paternal grandfather, Don Stewart (Suzanne); and his maternal grandmother, Pat Carlisle.

In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Naomi Stewart; and his maternal grandfather, Lewis Carlisle.

Justin touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was a kind and loving person who cared dearly for his family and friends. Alongside his family, Justin had an intense love for sports and his favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Justin made a career working at Publix Supermarkets with his brother, sister-in-law, and brothers-in-law. He was a hard worker and committed to enjoy his life outside of work as well. During his free time, Justin was always spending time with his favorite people. For fun Justin liked to watch sports, go bowling, watch movies, and just hang around with others. He never turned down an opportunity to help others with their everyday struggles and made excellent company for anyone he met.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 am in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends following the committal service.

Those in attendance are encouraged to please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the Georgia Transplant Foundation (https://gatransplant.org/giving/tribute-donation/)  which works with Augusta University Medical Center’s Living Donor Department (www.augustahealth.org/transplant) as Justin was dedicated to the center’s ongoing search for a kidney donor for his father.
