Joseph Franklin “Frank” Wilson

Frank Wilson, 81, of Piedmont, husband of Peggy Clamp Wilson, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 29, 2021 while at home with his family.

Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Harold and Nina Cheek Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Washington Baptist Church in Pelzer. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Clinton Lodge #3 in Abbeville and an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by his three children, John Wilson, Jay Wilson, and Nina W. Yeargin (Jerry Sports); grandchildren, Faith & Hope Yeargin, Kayla, Abbie, & Megan Wilson, and Elizabeth Greene; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John Wilson.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenville Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Stan Candler.

    To John, Jay, and Beth,

    Frank has been my neighbor for 43 years. I have appreciated their kindness and I will miss him. Having lost my Daughter to cancer just 4 months ago I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. I grieve with you. My prayer is for grace and strength at this time for the family. May God be with you all.

    To the Wilson Family,

    My condolences to the Wilson family during this difficult times; my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Although Frank is not physically with us his spirit lives on and may the life time of memories and the knowledge that he is with the Lord sustain you until next you see see Frank again.
