Jose Joaquin Alvarez Martinez
Jose Joaquin Alvarez Martinez, 75, of Gray Court, husband of Amparo Grisales Alvarez, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. Born in Calarcá, Colombia, he was the son of the late Manuel Jesus Alvarez Barragán and the late Carmen Rosa Martinez Sanchez Alvarez.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Alvarez is survived by two sons, Luis Eduardo Alvarez of Cape Coral, FL, and Diego Fernando Alvarez Grisales and his wife, Andrea, of Gray Court; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Monica, Sofia, Sandra, and Samuel; and two brothers, Alberto and Rafael.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Alvarez was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Patricia Alvarez; four sisters Rosaura, Emma, Maruja, and Alicia, and three brothers, Arturo, Manuel, and Julio.
The family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
