John Earl Reid Sr., 65 , went to be with the Lord on Thursday November 19,2009. He retired from J. P. Stevens. He leaves behind his son, John E. Reid Jr. and his wife Paula, his brothers ,Charles and Howard Reid. He is also survived his lifelong companion, Jean Reid, grandson, Caleb Reid, step son , Curtis Darryl Sykes, step daughter, Charlotte Davene Burk and step granddaughter, Crystal Burk. He was preceded in death by his step son, Jeffery Dean Sykes.
