John E. Gambill
John E. Gambill, 65, of Laurens, S.C. passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014. He was the son of the late Thomas Harry Gambill and Mamie Lee Lockett Gambill.
Mr. Gambill is survived by one son, Thomas C. Gambill, his fiancée Andrea Belanger of Chicago; one daughter, Tammy Willoughby and her husband, Andrew, of Simpsonville; seven grandchildren, Mikayla and Thomas Gambill; Courtney, Jewel, Zachary, Kaleigh and Gideon Willoughby; and one brother, James L. Gambill.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Richard Gambill, and an infant sister.
Mr. Gambill was deeply devoted to his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He served our country as a United States Marine and his community through the Jaycees for over 30 years. He retired from the financial services industry.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
