Jerry C. Wilkinson, 78, of Simpsonville, husband of Janice Argabright Wilkinson for 53 years, moved to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Born in Akron, OH he was a son of the late Floyd Wilkinson and the late Ella Goodson Wilkinson. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of First Baptist Church Simpsonville for 38 years. He served our country in the Army Reserve. He worked for many years as an auto-mechanic.

In addition to his wife, Janice, he is survived by a son, Joe Wilkinson and his wife, Jane, of Greenville; a daughter, Holly W. Howard and her husband, Stephen, of Landrum; grandchildren, Ella and Alex Howard; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Tolin and Anna Thies; and a sister, Marlene Sheppard, of OH.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd, Paul, Dale, Marvin, and Ross; and a sister, Mildred Tatum.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Simpsonville.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM prior to the service.
