Jackson Ray Geddings

Jackson Ray Geddings, 22, of Simpsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Jackson passed away unexpectedly after a motor vehicle accident in which he sustained unrecoverable injuries.

Born in Lexington, SC, he is the son of Jason and Catherine Geddings and brother of Alexia Geddings.

Jackson is survived by his paternal grandparents Ray and Suzanne Geddings, and maternal grandfather Conrad Little. He also leaves behind aunt and uncle Shelley and Gary Sems, along with cousins Michael, Daniel, Gracyn and Luke Sems; aunt and uncle Heidi and Conrad Little, along with cousins Jane, Julia and Conrad Little, and many other family members and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Andrea Little.

Jackson enjoyed life and experienced it in full. He was the first grandchild on both sides of his family, whom he cherished. Jackson graduated from Mauldin High School in 2020 and began working and enjoying life experiences. He played church basketball at Simpsonville Methodist Church, and he enjoyed participating in various outdoor activities including spending time at the lake, snow-skiing, snowboarding, frisbee golf, and more. He enjoyed traveling to many other states with his family and friends, and he was able to travel as well while working as a moving supervisor for Swamp Rabbit Moving. He had a contagious smile and sense of humor, always able to fill the room with laughter. He was a loyal friend and made sure to foster his relationships.

Jackson chose to be a donor and we are honored that his donation will help save many lives.

A Celebration of Life for Jackson will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Heritage Chapel at 313 N. Main St. Simpsonville, SC 29681 at 1:00 PM. A visitation will follow the service until 4:00 PM.  Burial will be private for the family.

The family asks that memorials be made in Jacksons name to Sharing Hope.
