Jack Bradford Finley

Jack Bradford Finley, 74, husband of Frances K. “Kathy” McAbee Finley, of Simpsonville, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James Ansel and Sarah Bagwell Finley.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He returned from the Army and worked at Cryovac for 37 years until his retirement. Jack enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a good handyman, building and repairing things around the house, and loved cutting grass on his tractor. Jack also had a special love for his bulldogs, PeeWee and Little Bit.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by two sons, Michael Finley (Haley) of Simpsonville, and his children, Charles, Kately May, and Sarah Renee, and John Bragg (Lenise) of Laurens, and his children Samantha Linville (Cameron) and Ryan Zimmerman; one great grandchild, Sarah Annelise Linville; and his sister Kay Roper.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

A Visitation will be held at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn, 1150 North Main Street, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 1:50 pm. The Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2:00 pm.
