Ila Mae Pruitt
Ila Mae Morris Pruitt, 87, widow of Tom Pruitt, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 of congestive heart failure at Carolina Hospice of the Foothills in Landrum, South Carolina.
She was the daughter of the late James Morris and the late Ethel Lawter Morris. Mrs. Pruitt was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha Ann Stokes, and her husband, Joe; two sons, Steve Pruitt and his wife, Shelia, and Jim Pruitt; seven grandchildren, Joe, Amy, Michael, Allison, Tracy, April, and Courtney; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Crowe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Randall Morris Pruitt; four sisters, Inez Kimbrell, Culene Morris, Myrtle Parris, and Macie Horn; and two brothers, Paul and Fred Morris.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
