Hattie Elizabeth Boyd Jones
Hattie Elizabeth Boyd Jones, 99, widow of Charles E. Jones, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at her home. She is the daughter of the late John Lee and Onie Elizabeth Moore Boyd.
She formerly served as a House Parent at the Whitten Center in Clinton, SC and was of the Baptist faith. She always wanted to “live in the house beside the road and be a friend of man.” She was a generous and hospitable lady who cared for so many along the way.
She is survived by two daughters Cindy Elizabeth Jones, Linda Lee Bijarro and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by a son John Michael Jones.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Cannon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends after the service.
