Gilford R. Dearman, 76, of Simpsonville, SC died Monday, June 15, 2009, at his residence. He was a son of the late Robert T. and Berzella King Dearman and was the husband of Mildred Winburn Dearman. He was retired from John D. Hollingsworth as a service representative. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and a member of Laurel Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a Shriner.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter Patricia (Patti) Dearman; sons Randy G.and R. Dale Dearman; sister Kathy Moize; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a special friend Margie Morgan.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, at Cannon Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, SC.
