Gary Marion Zara
Mr. Gary Marion Zara, 63, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at his residence.
He was born October 8, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Marion Zara and Virginia Campbell Zara. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois. He earned an MBA and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He was a CPA and a Hospital Administrator. He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Reed Zara; sons, Bryan Matthew Zara of Austin, Texas and Jason Michael Zara of Vienna, Virginia; daughter, Sharon Lynn Zara of Carpentersville, Illinois; brother, Vincent Zara of Eddyville, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Sophia, Griffin, Jake and Vivian.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2010 at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn, SC.
The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
