Gary Clayton Lowitz, 71, of Simpsonville passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was the husband of Karen Lowitz and the son of the late Jerry and Doris Lowitz. Gary was of the Presbyterian Faith and served his country in the United States Navy.

Gary is also survived by two sons; Steve Lowitz and his wife Corrine of Simpsonville and Gary Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Louisiana, two grandchildren; Aiden and Casen of Simpsonville, and one brother; Wayne Striggow.

He was preceded in death by one daughter; Sheryl and one brother; Larry.
