Frankie J. Robbins, 78, of Fountain Inn, wife of Orren B. Robbins, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Frank Hannon and Betty Turner.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, James L. Piller (Emily), Shannon F. Piller (Elizabeth), and Sarah Robbins; seven grandchildren, Reed Piller, Tyler Piller, Ryan Piller, Haylee Piller, Justin Piller, Will Boone, and Jay Boone; a great granddaughter, Lucy Vankoevering; three sisters, Barbara Stepp, Cheryl Willis, and Diane Davis; and her cousin and close friend, Terry Gilliland (Phillip)
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick S. Piller; and three siblings, Debbie, Mary Jane, and Tony.
Frankie was fearless and tireless; always smiling and cheerful. She loved spending time with her young grandchildren . A USPS Rural Mail carrier (honored as Carrier of the Year), she went above and beyond, especially in caring for her elderly customers and she was much loved in return. She loved to walk the beach and hike the mountains for miles, often with one of her sweet pups at her side.
A family only Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Frankie and I were in Jr. High School and High School together. I always looked forward to seeing her at reunions. Even though our lives never crossed, she was special.
I’ve been friends with Frankie for over 35 years, most of that time working together. She was the best friend that I could ever hope to find. We made a lot of wonderful memories together and I will miss her every day.
My heart is broken to hear about Frankie. She was a dear friend over the years we became friends through the rural carrier association. Traveled many miles together. Praying for her family
