Frances Helen Elkins, 75, of Simpsonville, wife of James D. Elkins, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 18, 2022.  Born in South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Agnes New Merritt.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Frances is survived by a son Thomas Elkins of Simpsonville, four grandchildren, Madison and Meghan Elkins and Mitchell and Matthew Meetze; a great granddaughter, Mila Meetz; and a sister Margie Nichols.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a daughter, Candace Meetze.

The family is planning a private service for a later date.
