Florence Edwina Tripp
Florence E. Tripp, 84, of Simpsonville, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
Born in Simpsonville, she was a daughter of the late Edward Jerome Day and the late Carolyn McDaniel Day.
Mrs. Tripp was a long-time member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. She retired after many years of service at Southern Bell, Duke Energy and Intercom Radio.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole Ann Tripp of Simpsonville; one son, John Edward Tripp and his wife, Cynthia, of Simpsonville; grandchildren, David Tripp and wife, Lynn, of Greer, Joshua Tripp of Kentucky, and Katherine Tripp of Simpsonville; great-grandchildren, Timothy Fortner and Brandon Tripp.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:45 AM.
Burial will follow in the Simpsonville City Cemetery.

Lost touch with Edwina years ago but she was always special to me. Her home was always open and caring for young people.
