Geoff Hatton, 88, of Simpsonville, loving husband to Evelyn Jones Hatton, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Born in Lancashire, England, he was a son of the late Leonard and Martha Hatton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Heather (Bruce) Windsor, Greenville; grandchildren, Abby (Ben) Gilbert, Lexington, VA, Paul (Sharon) Windsor, Raleigh, NC, Nathan (Arwen) Windsor, Clemson, and Amelia Windsor; sisters, Georgina Tierce, Woodstock, GA and Patricia Johnson, Kennesaw, GA; and a lifelong friend, who was like a brother, Raymond Vernon, Essex, England; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 12:30 PM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, 313 North Main Street Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will visit with friends following the service.
Burial will be private for the family prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Simpsonville, 3 Hedge Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681
A special Thank You to Interim Hospice nurses Stacey, Nan and Josh for their care and compassion during Geoff’s final days.
