Dorothy Bernice Thackston
Dorothy Bernice Thackston, of Fountain Inn, SC passed from this life Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, in Simpsonville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Oscar and Bruce Gault and the widow of Roy Arnold Thackston.
Mrs. Thackston was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and had been employed by Her Majesty Clothing Company.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Thackston and wife Amy of Gray Court, SC and Tony Thackston and wife Kathy of Simpsonville, SC; sister Pat Clark of Sarasota, FL; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, SC with Rev. Roscoe Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Thursday.
