Dorothy Ann Stewart, 84, of Simpsonville, wife of Donald E. Stewart, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Born in Savannah, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lamar & Ulma Hodges. Dorothy Ann was married to her husband, Donald, for 64 years. She enjoyed traveling the United States in their 5th wheel after retirement. She enjoyed painting ceramic pieces and was an avid gardener.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stewart is survived by two children, Don Stanley Stewart (Beth), and Dana Shipman Masse (Michael); five grandchildren, Brandon Shipman (Catherine), Allyson Thompson (Daniel), Connor Shipman, Chase Stewart, and Cole Stewart; and five great-grandchildren, Aiden & Ellie Thompson, Emmett, Abigail, and Olivia Shipman.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Hodges and Jimmy Hodges.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 10:00 am at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
