Donald Eugene McElhannon

Donald Eugene McElhannon, 55, of Fountain Inn, SC passed away April 3, 2011 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

He was born November 13, 1955 in Greenville County to Eugene McElhannon and Dorothy Tench McElhannon of Greenville. He was a member of Beech Springs Tabernacle and was a loving father and grandfather. He was an avid gun collector.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a son, Jason McElhannon of Newberry; daughters, Shawna Neal of Greenville; Michelle McElhannon of Belton; brother, David McElhannon of Greenville; sister, Sharon Willis of Decatur, AL; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Beech Springs Tabernacle. Rev. Tony Willis and Rev. Eric Boggs will officiate. Entombment will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
