Denese Ann Gibbs, 64, of Laurens, SC, passed away on April 1, 2019 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC. Born in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late George Morton Smith and the late Mable Phillips Smith.
Denese is survived by her daughter, Katharine Mandy Gibbs and her fiancé, Josh Costa of Retsof, NY; her son, Ricky Gibbs and Amie Lynn Fogerty, of Mt Morris, NY; the father of her children, Herbert Gibbs; a sister, Sharon Keith and her husband, Don, of Laurens; four nieces, Barbara Keith, Kimberly McMorris, Jessica & Rick Firpo, and Amy & Kenton Brown; five grandnieces and grandnephews, Ali, Lauren, Brandon, Austin, and William; several great grandnieces and great grandnephews; and many beloved pets.
In addition to her parents, Denese was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Smith.
A Memorial Service will be planned by the family at a later date.
