Cynthia Marie Noske

Cynthia Marie Noske, 73, of Gray Court, SC, wife of John L. Noske III, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Born in Rochester, MN, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Dorothy Peplinski Brown.

In addition to her husband, Cynthia is survived by four children, Benjamin Scott, Jennifer Tinsley, Jakin Noske, and Amy Beth Noske; five grandchildren, Amanda Tinsley, Axl Tinsley, Austin Tinsley, Sydney Tinsley, and Natalie Garrison; one great granddaughter, Ivy Garrison; and four siblings, Jolynn Mahon, Pan Miscione, Tom Brown, and Mary Griffin.

Cindi had a selfless soul, continuously spending and re-spending herself for whomever came to her aid. Whether she was up or down she sacrificed for and shepherded others with amazing wisdom, intuitive input, and humor. The impressive pouring out to others could be seen by all who surrounded themselves in her grace.

She was a loving and dedicated homemaker for John and all the children in her life. She selflessly shared in the raising of 10 different children over the course of her life. Her first two biological children Benjamin and Jenny and John’s two children Jakim and Amy.  Then nearly 20 years ago she selflessly took up care of Jenny’s five children who were abandoned to her and John. Amanda, Axl, Austin, Sidney [who has been disabled from an early age] and Natalie. And recently with the blessing of her newest great granddaughter, Ivy, she once again spread her loving wings and motherly precious care.

Cynthia was the consummate love of John’s life. Their unique bond and continuous blending went beyond the unification of their worldly bodies. Through their mutual love of Christ, their love transcended both the spirit and soul. All those who are blessed to be in their lives could sense the depth of their love of each other, their family, community, and the Holy Trinity.

It is our mutual belief that the Lord called her home to paradise; as she was in need of substantial rest. Now in bliss with the Lord Jesus Christ; She has become a part of the Cloud of Witnesses, surrounding us all, ushering forth the Lord’s believers.

Cindi’s unwavering beauty, her vibrant personality, her incalculable love, and her continuous love of Christ will be greatly missed by all.

  1. Dear John and family,
Many former Rochester, MN classmates from St. John’s Grade School and Lourdes High School are holding you all close to our hearts. She was always a beautiful soul. In Cindi’s own words, “I wonder what magic spell makes me feel so close to God? It’s as if all nature senses it – I wonder if it really knows how very close He is…”
May Cindi now rest in peace.
    Joan

  2. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We will sure miss Cindy. It was a pleasure to see her in the yard when she brought the great granddaughter out to see the cows.
    Take care of yourself

  3. In the church here in Simpsonville we will really miss our sister. Cindi was particularly exercised to bring her portion of Christ to the meetings and release it to the saints. In this she was a real pattern for all of us. She would diligently prepare her portion and with an exercised spirit speak Christ in the meeting. She also was a shepherd for so many of the saints. She had a portion of Christ that she had gained through sufferings and caring for others that she could pass on through fellowship.
She reminds me of Matt. 24:45 “Who then is the faithful and prudent slave, whom the master has set over his household to give them food at the proper time?”
We will surely miss her portion.

  4. Condolences to the family and friends of our dear sister Cindy whom we love and miss. Cindy was a person who put herself aside to care for others in contrast to this age of lovers of self. May we all be inspired to live unto the Lord to meet His need and hasten the day of the coming of the Lord.

  5. Dear Brown siblings and John and children, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry for your loss. There will never be anyone like her with her big smile and warm heart. May your hearts be comforted by the precious memories that will always be with you. And that she is now in the presence of the One Who loves her best.

  6. My deep condolences to the Noske and Brown families. My sorrow and prayer are with you. May the Lord’s peace and grace be with you at all times. Dear sister Cindy is a model of our family and church life. I believe that we missed our sister Cindy just temporarily and will see her again when our Lord Jesus comes back.
