Clifton Bill Collins
Bill Collins, 75, of Piedmont, husband of Patricia Kellett Collins, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 11, 2018 while surrounded by his family.
He was the son of the late Lonnie Collins and the late Sarah Ward Collins. Bill was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church and retired from JP Stevens after 41 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Patti DeFronzo (Jerry) of Simpsonville, and Cindy Collins of Mauldin; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Till Collins (Mary), Butch Collins (Jeanette), and Carl Collins (Carol).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home from 2:00 – 3:00pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to: Reedy Fork Baptist Church, 459 Reedy Fork Rd, Greenville, SC 29605, or to Regency Hospice, 880 South Pleasantburg, Dr. Greenville, SC 29607.
