David and Linda Parker – we were blessed many times by Charlie and his tremendous kindness. He was a humble, hard working man that always had time to talk and encourage. He was a brilliantly skilled man that helped us on many projects. He will be greatly missed.

We worked with Charlie for many years in the Facilities Department and observed his great work ethic and good attitude. When there was “crunch time” for projects he always came through. A master craftsman who did beautiful work and worked tirelessly for the university.

So sorry to hear of this loss for your family.

  • Thankful for Charlie’s testimony for our Lord and his service for the Lord at Bob Jones University.
Charlie was a blessing to be around. His positive attitude and his willingness to help you.
He did some work for us in the print shop at BJU Press and for me personally.
He was an artist with welding and with people.

Martha and I want to express our admiration and appreciation for the heart that Charlie had toward for the University and individuals. We had many times of sharing our thoughts, even while working through projects together. Often he spoke of seeking the Lord’s leading in his decisions. He truly was a very gifted man and highly respected him for his abilities and keenly completing details associated with them.
