Catherine “Renie” Davis Raney

Catherine “Renie” Davis Raney, 63, of Fountain Inn, widow of Timothy Boyd Raney, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Barbara Milam Davis and the late Jerry Earl Davis.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Raney is survived by her son, Justin, and his wife, Heather, of Taylors; her sister, Karen Barton and her husband, Alvin, of Fountain Inn; her nieces, Blaine Barton, Mackenzie Barton, and Cheryl Dobbins Ross; and her great-nephews, Robert and Kevin Dobbins.

A drop-in will be held for family & friends on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2310 Augusta Rd, Greenville, SC 29605 or The SC Firefighters Association via www.scfirefighters.org/give.

    Justin, our thoughts and prayers are with you and Heather. Renie was such a light to so many. Your Dad taught us so many 1st aid and CPR….and always made them fun. I pray our wonderful memories will warm your heart.
