Calvin Larry Mason Sr.

Calvin Mason, 70, of Fountain Inn, husband of Julie Anthony Mason for 36 years, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Gene & Ollie Mason. Mr. Mason loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and their entire family. He enjoyed being at the local race tracks, demolition derby and going to auctions.

In addition to his wife, Julie, he is survived by two sons, Calvin ‘CJ’ L, Mason Jr. and his wife, Maria, and Anthony Mason all of Fountain Inn; a daughter, Elyse Mason of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Camden Mason, Benton Mason, Brittney Frady, Tony Lozano, and Christian Gonzales; one sister, Janice Maynor and her husband, Robert, also of Fountain Inn; and a special friend, Paul Greene.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Jo Gonzales; and one brother, David Pressley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Cannon Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.
