Calvin Charles Cassidy, 72, of Simpsonville, husband of Christina Daracunas Cassidy, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 29, 2022 while at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Cassidy was born in Circleville, OH to the late Verl & Madeline Adams Cassidy.

In addition to his wife, Mrs. Cassidy is survived by their children, Andrew Cassidy (Cherish) of Columbia, and Sara Cassidy of Simpsonville; and three grandchildren, Joni, Caleb, and Patrick Cassidy.

A Funeral Service will be held at Holly Ridge Baptist Church on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Josh Culbertson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The Committal Service will be private for the family with interment in MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Holly Ridge Baptist Church, Building Fund, 260 Adams Mill Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
