Mrs. Betty G. Hinson, 69, of Greenville, SC Passed from this life Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Anderson Hospice House, Anderson, SC. She was born June 7, 1939 in Washington, D.C. a daughter of the late Oliver and Alene Hawley Gross and was the wife of Arvil Hinson. Until her illness she worked as a Merchandiser for Procter and Gamble Company. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Arvil W. Hinson of Greenville, SC; son and daughter-in-law Greg and Marie Hinson of Bristol, TN; daughter Sheree Wells of Anderson, SC; brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Kay Gross of Iron Station, NC; grandchildren Scottie and Brittany Hinson, Alyson Martin and Colby Wells; great grandchildren Coty Vance and Gage Webb.

Funeral services will be 2:30 Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, SC with Rev. Joe Whisnant officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time Saturday.
