Bessie May James
Bessie May James, 91, of Fountain Inn, SC, passed from this life Tuesday, December 22, 2009, in Hendersonville, NC. She was born May 7, 1918, in Greenville County, SC a daughter of the late Columbus and Carrie Renner Williams and was the widow of George Gilbert James. She was a member of the Fountain Inn Church of God and was retired from the Fountain Inn Mill.
Survivors include two sisters Lois Hicks of Greer, SC and Ethel Knipe of San Antonio, TX; brother Carl Williams of Dacusville, SC; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, SC with Rev. Stephen Christopher officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday.
