Benny Joe Forbus
Benny Joe Forbus 50, of Laurens went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2010. Born in Ashland, Al on September 21, 1959. Benny was the son of Christine and Frank Adams of Hickory Tavern and the late William (Bud) Forbus.
Surviving are two brothers: Ricky and Micheal Forbus, two sisters: Elizabeth (Libby) Massey and Denise Griffin, sons: Bo Forbus Dickson of Piedmont, Jousha and Zackary Forbus of Greenville, daughters: Elizabeth (Lizzie) Forbus of Greenville and Kristi Lawson of Fountain Inn. Benny had 6 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday April 1, 2010 at Cannon Funeral Home Fountain Inn from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday April 2, 2010 at the Chapel of Cannon Funeral Home Fountain Inn. Burial will follow the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
