Baxter A. Ragsdale, 84, of Simpsonville, husband of Brenda Ragsdale, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017 while surrounded by family at “the caring McCall Hospice House.”

Born in Dallas, TX he was the son of the late Edward Baxter Ragsdale and the late Floy Mae Purvis Ragsdale.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his sister, Sue Ragsdale Bean; six children, thirteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in Dallas, TX at a later date.
