Barbara H. McFarlin
Barbara Hallford McFarlin, 87, of Pelzer, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Born in Franklin, GA, she was a daughter of the late Howard A. and Estelle Ivester Hallford.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jody E. McFarlin and his wife, Tracy; three grandchildren, Robert McFarlin, Rhyne McFarlin, and Jake McFarlin; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald A. Hallford and Billy T. Hallford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, John Mark McFarlin, Barbara Elaine McFarlin, and Roy “Del” McFarlin; and five siblings, Jack Hallford, Jo Ann Hallford, William C. “Curly” Hallford, Mozelle Holland, and Ondeene Carter.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home- Simpsonville; 313 N. Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church; 1310 New Bethel Road, Carnesville, GA 30521. Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to New Bethel Baptist Church General Fund in Carnesville, GA; 1310 New Bethel Rd, Carnesville, GA 30521.
Sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. She was a sweet and industrious lady who worked hard, long hours to support her family. And she always did it with that beautiful smile on her face when we worked with her at Hollingsworth on Wheels. Please accept our condolences.
