Anne Emily Cook, 96, of Simpsonville, widow of John Cook, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Born in Yonkers, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Ann Litchfield McEneaney. Anne moved from New York after retirement to New Bern, NC and later to Simpsonville to be closer to her son.
Anne is survived by her son, J. Desmond Cook and his wife Robin; her granddaughter Téa Cook; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brother Edward McEneaney; and two sisters, Evelyn Watkins and Kathryn McEneaney.
A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
