Anita W. Dobbins
Anita W. Dobbins, 93, of Simpsonville, widow of Thomas E. Dyar, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 while surrounded by family.
Born in Barrow County, GA, Mrs. Dobbins was the daughter of the late Harold S. & Ola Mae Wayne Sr. She was one of seven children.
She is survived by her children, Debra Tarleton (Tom) of Newman, GA., Thomas E. Dyar Jr. (Susan) of Jefferson, GA., and Amy Seals (Ray) of Greensboro, NC; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Anita was a talented artist and seamstress. She loved college football – especially the Georgia Bulldogs. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Shriners Children’s Hospital or V-Care Hospice of SC.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Anita must’ve been a wonderful mama, given the values, manners, and sense of humor she instilled in Amy. Ninety-three years of living life to the fullest is quite a testament. May she rest in peace.
