Betty Jo Moon
Betty Jo Moon, 81, of Fountain Inn, widow of Leroy W. Moon died April 3, 2013.
Born in Simpsonville Betty Jo was a daughter of the late Joe and Lula Tucker Brown.
Betty Jo was a teacher and a member of Temple Baptist Church Simpsonville.
Surviving are her children, son, George “Mike” Godfrey of Apopka, Fl; three daughters, Diane Truesdale of Houston, TX; Susan G. Robinson of Fountain Inn; Sandra Lynn Couch of Cove City NC; two sisters, Marj Ford of Fountain Inn; Sarah Worthy of Simpsonville; brother, Jim Brown; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be, 11am, Friday April 5 at Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville with Dr. Herbert Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
