Betty Hoster

Betty Catherine, age 82, widow of Robert G. Hoster, of 104 Sellwood Circle, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late James Heyward and Lydia Louise Christopher Cureton. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Hoster is survived by three daughters, Robin Cogswell and husband Mike of Dale City, Virginia, Cindy Wallis and husband Bill and Kathy Leopard and husband James, all of Simpsonville; seven grandchildren, Bobby Biddle, Chrissy Repine, Trish Davis, Abby Banks, Adam Biddle, Amanda Burnett and Marcia Biddle; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa H. Caddell.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Russ Shinpoch of Destiny Church with burial in Springwood Cemetery.
