Joyce Banister, 77, of Simpsonville, wife of William Banister, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Born in Needham, MA, she was a daughter of the late Harold & Marjorie Morse Wheeler.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Banister is survived by two daughters, Stacie Banister (Rob), and Kelly Kuhlhoff (Trent); two grandchildren, Kyle and Jordan Kuhlhoff; one brother, Sandy Wheeler (Dottie); two sisters, Judy Crossman and Merry Jennings; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Wheeler and Stevie Wheeler; and one sister, Donna King.
