W. Wayne Malone
William Wayne Malone, 91, of Mauldin, SC, husband of Marceline ‘Marcie’ Moss Malone, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of the late William P. and Lula Moore Malone.
In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by three daughters, Sherrie McLaughlin (Brian), Cindy Oliver, and Nola Jackson (Tony); five grandchildren, Ashley Oliver, Josh Jackson, Will Jackson (Carley), Michael McLaughlin (Rachel), and Patrick McLaughlin (Bella); and three great grandchildren, Milo Jackson, Jett Jackson, and Seve Jackson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Shannon Oliver; and four sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville; 313 North Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Upstate Warrior Solution.

You have my deepest sympathy. Wayne was special to me as I know you know.
Always there on the road, to answer questions, make me laugh, and a shoulder to cry on.
I tried to remember to call him on his birthday and I would call him to pray with me for whatever reason I had on my heart.
