Dorothy ‘Dot’ Mullinax Cooley
Dot Cooley, 80, of Belton, widow of William O. Cooley, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024.
Born in Anderson, Mrs. Cooley was the daughter of the late James Emory & Addie Ashley Mullinax.
Mrs. Cooley is survived by her son, William Anthony ‘Andy’ Cooley; her grandchildren, Brandy Vaughn and her husband, Daren, and Chase Anthony Cooley; two great-grandchildren, EllaRyn Vaughn and Bowen Thomas Vaughn; and one brother, Harry Clyde Mullinax.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Belton in the Sanctuary.
A Private Graveside Service will be held for the family in the Belton City Cemetery.
Andy and family I am so so sorry for your loss of your mama. praying for you and your family. I am surely going to miss seeing her out on the road picking up stuff but she loved to do that and keeping her road clean that keep her happy.
