I was saddened to learn if Yvonne’s passing but thankful she is with Bill and in Heaven. She has been a joy and inspiration to me as I was her Sunday school teacher in recent years. She knew far more than me and shared her knowledge , faith and inspiration so lovingly. I have the sweet poem she wrote to me ; now it is especially treasured We emailed for months when she was at the Springs and it was always uplifting to hear from her. Please know all of the love Beauty and smiles that she brought to my life. She is remembered warmly
Yvonne was the supervising teacher for my student teaching during the 1971 to 1972 school year at BJU. Not only was she a wonderful teaching model, but she became a very dear friend! My husband and I and sometimes our daughters would visit her through the years. We exchanged Christmas cards every year and she was always excited to find out where we were living. We love her and will miss her so much, but know she is happy to be in heaven with Jesus and Bill!
