Dear Eva and Dennis,
Though we have never met I had the pleasure of meeting your dad when he befriended my 97 year old mother shortly after he moved in the Springs. She had only been there a couple of weeks and was still feeling her way into this new life in assisted living. His warm caring Christian way gave her much joy! They shared meals snd talks on the porch encouraging one another in their faith journey at this stage of their full lives. May you find comfort knowing his winsome ways we’re just what so many there needed and loved.
Such a sweet, sweet man who will be dearly missed. He always came by my office to give me a big hug and make my day! He lived such a long and fruitful life, and he just seemed to spread joy everywhere he went!
Mr. Bennett was a dear, kind gentleman with a positive and independent attitude. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him at Thrive Upstate.

My family had the pleasure of living next door to Mr. and Mrs. Bennett for nearly 45 years. You couldn’t ask for better neighbors or friends. Mr. Bennett, thank you for your service to this country, Semper Fidelis.
Heaven has added a sparkle of sunshine , he was an inspiration to each person that he came in contact with. It was my pleasure to know him through Thrive Upstate where our sons share their daily lives. So thankful for his joyful life and the smile he always shared !
