Spencer Ross Cohen

Spencer R. Cohen, 25, of Greenville, died on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Born in Freehold, NJ, he was a son of Stuart B.Cohen and Joan Favorito Cohen. Spencer loved his family and enjoyed working as a computer programmer. He loved concerts and collecting gaming memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Jackie C. Sorci, Rich Cohen also his God-Father, Mike (Alex) Cohen, Josh (Rachael) Cohen, and Leanne Cohen; his maternal grandmother, Natalie Favorito; his aunt and God-Mother, Angela Pellegrino and his uncle Frank, and aunt and uncle Catherine & Nick Plakoris; nieces, Sydney Cohen and Rachelle Cohen; and nephews, Aurelio Sorci and Jacob Cohen; his cousins, Lindsey Plakoris, Taylor Plakoris, Kelsey Plakoris, Dario Pellegrino and Gina Pelligrino; and his dear friends, Lauren Metcalf, Colin Combs, and Elaine & Bill Avila.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Favorito; and his Yia Yia Dora Plakoris and Papou Andy Plakoris.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home in Simpsonville.

The family will receive friends starting at 12:30 PM prior to the service.
