Scott Michael Peters
Scott M. Peters, 44, of Simpsonville, husband of Jennifer Peters, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Born in Toledo, OH he was a son of Jim & Sandy Peters. Scott was a faithful and loving husband to Jennifer, and a devoted father to Millie (age 5) and Livie (age 2). He was a long-time member of First Baptist Simpsonville/Upstate Church.
In addition to his wife, Jennifer, Scott is survived by their two daughters, Millie and Livie Peters; his parents, Jim & Sandy Peters; siblings, Barry Peters and his wife, Heather, and Emily Hill and her husband, Russell; his in-laws, Randy & Penny Broom; sisters-in-law, Missy Killough (Zach), and Lauren Longenecker (Derek); and many nieces and nephews, Ben, Abey, and Merritt Peters, Ellie, Knox, and Charlotte Hill, Talin Killough, and Adalynn and Emersyn Longenecker.
Scott was known to everyone for his big smile along with his gracious and humble personality. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him. Scott had a kind word for everyone he talked to and always wanted to make the other person feel a little better about themselves.
Scott was an excellent athlete. He was a baseball player for Hillcrest High School and a member of a region champion cross country team. He then went on to play college baseball at Erskine College, where he graduated with a degree in Business Management.
