Ruby Harling Baskin

Ruby Harling Baskin 95, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 21,2010. A native of Simpsonville, SC she was the wife of the late John Edward Baskin. Ruby was a farmer’s wife, a Gardner , a seamstress, a wonderful cook, a retired algebra teacher from Greenville County Schools ,and a member of Unity Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her children, Susan Baskin-Jones, John E. Baskin, Jerry H .Baskin ,and David L. Baskin.

She is also survived by her brother ,William Walker Harling, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her sisters Gladys Harling Anderson and Roberta Harling Hance.
A funeral service will be held at Unity Baptist Church, 1000 Fairview Road, Simpsonville on Saturday April 24, 2010 at 4Pm.

Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church hall following the service. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community Chapel Fund.
